Butterfly wings

Don't even ask me where the month it's been since I've posted went, I have no idea.

I was planning on declaring September my 'finish it' month but it's already the 26th so I'm saving that for October.  I have so many WIPs it's ridiculous.

So in October I'm hoping to finish
- panda softie I started for Matilda for her birthday (back in July)
- fleur playmat for Polly, especially required now that she's rolling around!
- Polly's santa sack, started at the same time I made Matilda's last Christmas
- some little cases I have kind of made for a car DVD player (also started last Christmas)

The aim is to get these things out of the way before Christmas stuff begins.  Yes, it's time to think about Christmas already.   Anyone with me, got a few unfinished projects to get sorted?

I got myself a little bit organised last week, organised enough to make some butterfly wings for our playgroup last Thursday.  I copied the idea from Cakies, so cute.  The kids loved it.

Matilda has been running around most of the weekend with hers on.

Also this weekend a very good friend of mine got married in Gent, Belgium. I wish I could have been there. All the best A & L! Can't wait to see photos.

We've been camping

We had our first camping trip in a long time last weekend at Lake Borumba.

Admittedly it was only for one night and it was freezing.  But we had fun and it was Polly's first official holiday.

And there was cute little deers to look at.

I wanted to take this little guy home.

We're going again in a few weeks, that will make more camping in two months than we've done in about five years.
